Life is So Simple…… 2nd Part!

Located in my brain is a jumble of thoughts, feelings, songs, words, emotions, smells, sights, and cravings. It’s full of wrongs and rights, happiness and hate. It’s full of me. This is how everyone’s brains are. And I tend to let that overflow onto this computer monitor by means of a keyboard and my fast-typing fingers.

Unfortunately, I think it makes my writing less pleasing to any stranger who happens to take a peak at my blog. I keep telling myself I write this for me, which is true, but at the same time I read these other thoughts of these amazingly talented writers, and I feel a little, tiny bit jealous.

I’m not saying that I’m going to change anything. Of course not. This is for my own enjoyment, and sometimes for my own sanity. It’s an online journal, basically. I just wish sometimes that I was more talented.

You (meaning the 2 or 3 wonderful people that read this) may have noticed that I changed my blog title. I’ve always hated my blog title (My life, or something comparable). I wasn’t exactly serious about this blog when I started it (OK, I’m still not that serious about it) and I sort of just put down the first thought that popped into my head.

So, for now… I’m in persuit of happiness. Which usually involves drama. Which is…. yup, you guessed it; Life.

So, when I hear someone sigh, “Life is hard”, I’m always tempted to ask, “Compared to what?” Just what exactly life means to us? I’m a firm believer that what you get out of life, depends on how you live it.

More than often, we start to question the meaning of life when we’ve been unhappy and depressed a good bit, or when we feel useless and worthless, or when something awful just happened to you or someone you care about and you don’t understand why bad things happen to good people.

Reality is in fact neither good nor bad; it can always be bent and twisted in many directions depending on your beliefs. Unfortunately, we often choose to see the negative side of things.

Happiness doesn’t depend on anything that has or has not happened in the past, nor does it depend on your future prospects. The simple fact is, in order to be happy; you must decide to be happy.

(inspired by a friend who keep complaining his life….
C’mon man… life is beautiful, why grumbling about the past…)

What Are My Skills?

Skills_2After reading an email from a friend, I just know that there are "A" skill sets, those that you really excel at and then there are "B" skill sets, those things you can do, and do well, but don’t necessarily enjoy. Then it come to me with a question, What are my skills? This has what’s been asked of me by my life coach.

I’ve also been asked to ask other people and see what they think. After all, my idea of what I’m good at may be entirely off base from other’s opinions. For example, I thought I was a great cook until my nephew threw up after eating my meat lasagna one time. No one told me that the hamburg needed to be fresh… ^grin^

So, I open the floor to those of you at Chiclicious, I know you don’t all intimately know me but from your point of view, and reading my posts for the last several months (now that I think of it…you may know me more intimately then I think), what would you say my skills are?

HOW TO CLIMB MOUNTAINS

Choose the mountain you want to climb
Don’t be influenced by what other people say: ‘that one’s prettier’ or ‘that one looks easier. You are going to put a lot of energy and enthusiasm into achieving your objective, and you are the only one person responsible for your choice, so be quite sure about what you are doing.

Find out how to reach the mountain
Often you can see the mountain in the distance – beautiful, interesting, full of challenges. However, when you try to reach it, what happen? It’s surrounded by the roads; and what seems clear on the map is far more complicated in reality. So you must try all the paths and tracks until, one day, you find yourself before the peak you intend to climb.

Learn from someone who has been there before
However unique you may think you are, there is always someone who has had the same dream before, and who will have left signs behind that will make the climb less arduous: the best place to attach a rope, trodden paths, branches broken off to make it easier to pass. It is your climb and it is your responsibility too, but never forgets that other people’s experiences are always helpful.

Dangers, seen from close to, are controllable
When you start to climb the mountain of your dreams, pay attention to what is around you. There are, of course, precipices. There are almost imperceptible cracks. There are stones polished so smooth by rain and wind that they have become as slippery as ice. But if you know where you are putting your foot, you will see any traps and be able to avoid them.

The landscape changes, so make the most of it
You must, naturally, always keep in mind your objective – reaching the top. However, as your climb, the view changes, and there is nothing wrong with stopping now and then enjoy the vista. With each meter you climb, you can see a little further, so take time to discover things you have never noticed before.

Respect your body
You will only manage to climb a mountain if you give your body the care it deserves. You have all the time that life gives you so do not demand too much from your body. If you walk too quickly, you will grow tired and give up halfway. If you walk too slowly, night might fall and you will get lost. Enjoy the landscape, drink the cool spring water, and eat the fruit that Nature so generously offers you, but keep walking.

Respect your soul
Don’t keep repeating, ‘I’m going to do it.’ Your soul knows this already. What it needs to do is to use this long walk in order to grow, to reach out as far as the horizon, to touch the sky. Obsession will not help you in search for your goal, and will end up spoiling the pleasure of the climb. On the other hand, don’t keep repeating ‘It’s harder than I thought,’ because that will sap your inner strength.

Be prepared to go the extra mile
The distance to the top of the mountain is always greater than you think. There is bound to come a moment when what seemed close is still very far away. But since you are prepared to go still further, this should not be a problem.

Be joyful when you reach the top
Cry, clap your hands, shout out loud that you made it; let the wind (because it is always windy up there) purify your mind, cool your hot, weary feet, open your eyes, blow the dust out of your heart. What was once only dream, a distant vision, is now part of your life. You made it, and that is good.

Make a promise
Now that you have discovered a strength you did not even know you had, tell yourself that you will use it for the rest of your days; promise yourself, too, to discover another mountain and set off on a new adventure.

Tell your story
Yes, tell your story. Be an example to others. Tell everyone that it’s possible, and then others will find the courage to climb their own mountains.

Life.. is so SIMPLE…

My horoscope today’s state like this :

-LIBRA-

Why pressure yourself into taking it all in when grasping one small detail can be so rewarding? Right now you need to focus on one aspect of your life to see how you can improve it. Instead of focusing on your overall health, try just your teeth. Instead of focusing on making more money, try just saving one dollar a day. And instead of focusing on finding a true love, try just finding someone you can have a great conversation with. The best way to move forward is by taking one step at a time.

I think that something which anyone should know from the beginning, right? Don’t need any advice from those horoscope things. Just maybe sometimes I forget how to think in pieces. Busy to thought about the global things, worried about anythings, but forgot to face the very small and easy things that have very important connection to improve my problems.

Maybe that’s the reason why I sometimes feel how hard my life would going to be, because I was busy to think anything so hard. Yeah… why don’t make it simple by think in pieces, one by one, and be ready to face what’s next. Like Han said in Fast & Furious : Tokyo Drift, “… Life is so simple,.. just go what u have to do, and don’t look back…”.

Mirror, mirror of eternal time, where does the solution lie?

I have a lot of question right in my mind that I couldn’t answer…

And… there’re some questions that just don’t have any answer at all…

For every single question that has been asked on the face of this planet, the answer has always sprouted out of a surprisingly simple logic. Well, not necessarily the simplest, but there could have been more complicated solutions to it. However, the most complicated solution has never turned out to be the perfect one. At least that’s what we have been made to believe.

One begins to wonder about this claims credibility. Do the laws of physics put any constraint on how the solutions have to be? Theories suggestive of this have been around for a long time.

For most people, the 14th century English logician, William Ockham’s claim is worth their life’s exploration:

entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem

which translates to Entities should not be multiplied beyond necessity,
more popularly interpreted as
The simplest answer is usually the correct answer.

This argument is one of the most favorite claims for the evolutionists to disprove the existence of the ultimate being. As much as this THEORY can be appreciated, the ramifications will almost always turn out to be grave. Not just in science, but in all walks of life.

Defectors of this theory can bring in a million examples to disprove this claim. What is the one question that perpetually persists in every single cerebral being’s mind, the one question that makes them contemplate, and the one question that has been chasing every curious mind? Why is the universe the way it is? Well, and a few more too, but if the former were to be answered, the rest would fall in place.

Even for these profound questions, there is a ludicrously simple theory. The universe is the way it is, because we are. The universe is the way it is because, if it weren’t, we wouldn’t be here to question about it. There might be millions of other possible universes, but only this is real, because we are here. The anthropic principle! It can be equated to: Why is it raining today? Because if it doesn’t, human race wouldn’t persist and we won’t be here. So did we get an answer for the question? The supposed answer might have made some sense, but the relevance factor was absolute naught.

In our pursuit in life, we are all settling in for such pedestrian solutions. There would have been no apparent solution, nevertheless, we settle for that! Striving towards the ultimate reality is far too difficult. People just cannot be taught to do it. Neither does their thought process propel them. However, the fruit once borne will be worth the struggle. Few realize this and strive for what is absolute, rather than to settle for what might be apparent. Fewer attain the peaks.

But if one is anywhere near the vicinity of being close to the solution, if there is awareness that one is in the right path, and if there is someway of finding out at least a morsel of what is meant to be, it is worth the risk. It is worth the struggle. For, it is in this struggle that one realizes that the absolute panacea was far too near than assumed.

But the secret sits in the middle and knows
